Add a little green to your apps table.
Bring large pot of water to a boil. Fill bowl with ice water. Add salt to boiling water, then in batches, using strainer, dunk kale, then scallion greens and basil, to wilt; immediately transfer to ice water to cool. Drain well.
In food processor, puree beans, kale, basil, scallion greens and whites, and garlic with oil, lemon juice, and 1/2 teaspoon each salt and pepper. Serve with crostini and vegetables.
